How we verify lottery results

Every winning number on this site is collected automatically from the lottery corporation that runs the game — BCLC, WCLC, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation or Loto-Québec. For four games (Ontario 49, Lottario, Québec 49 and Québec Max) we use independent public result publications instead, and a draw is only shown as verified when two of them agree. Official lottery records always prevail.

How a draw is checked before it appears

When results appear

National draws (Lotto Max on Tuesday and Friday, Lotto 6/49 on Wednesday and Saturday, Daily Grand on Monday and Thursday) take place at about 10:30 PM Eastern Time. Numbers usually appear here between 10:35 and 11:00 PM ET; prize payouts and winner locations follow as each corporation publishes them. If a corporation publishes late, the site checks again overnight, including at 2:00 AM ET.

Corrections

If a number on this site does not match the official result, tell us with the game, the draw date and the page. We check it against the corporation's published result and correct the draw and its prize table together. Significant corrections are listed here.

On the Lotto 6/49 page, the Gold Ball line said the jackpot "grows to" an amount that was actually the jackpot at stake in the draw just held. The line now gives that draw's Gold Ball jackpot and, separately, the corporation's estimate for the next draw when it has been announced.
Lotto Max bonus selections drawn before April 14, 2026 were labelled "MAXPLUS, $100,000". They were MAXMILLIONS draws worth $1,000,000.Relabelled every affected draw as MAXMILLIONS and restored the winners of those selections.
Some prize tables listed the same prize level more than once (for example "5/6 + Bonus" three times) because the source repeats each level for every region with a winner. Each prize level now appears once, with the national number of winners.
The Gold Ball tracker showed the jackpot of the draw that had just taken place as the current jackpot. The tracker now shows the jackpot for the next draw, taken from the corporation's announcement for that date.
Daily Grand's Grand Number was called a "bonus" number in page summaries.Renamed "Grand Number" everywhere.
