New Lotto Max at Three Months: 7 Jackpots, 97 MAXPLUS Winners

Lotto Max switched to its new format on April 14, 2026 — numbers 1–52, $6 for four selections, a $90 million cap, and $100,000 MAXPLUS prizes on every draw. Three months in, the numbers are in.

What 25 draws of data show

  • 7 jackpots won in the first 26 draws — most recently the $25 million prize claimed in Québec on July 10.
  • 725 MAXPLUS selections drawn — of which 93 were matched, paying $9.3 million to 97 winners (a matched selection pays $100,000; unmatched selections pay nothing). The structural change matters: MAXPLUS prizes appear on every draw, not just at the cap.
  • The $90 million cap has not been reached yet; the biggest new-era jackpot so far stayed well below the old $80 million record.

Under the old rules, the $1,000,000 MAXMILLIONS only appeared once the jackpot passed $50 million. The new MAXPLUS system pays 10 secondary prizes at a $10M jackpot, scaling to 90 at the cap — so even reset draws now create six-figure winners.
